Beyerdynamic Launches New Aventho 300 and Amiron 300
Celebrating its centennial earlier this year, German audio brand beyerdynamic has announced new products in its wireless lineup that will be available from mid-October this year.
Since 1924, beyerdynamic has released numerous iconic products for both audiophiles and the general public, such as the DT 880, the T1, the Amiron Wireless and more.
Andreas Rapp, beyerdynamic CEO told StereoNET:
“There aren’t many companies today that can celebrate 100 years of innovation. We’re incredibly honored to be sharing our centennial year together with IFA, another historic and innovative German organization. There’s no better way to introduce our latest and greatest true wireless products than at IFA 2024, as it showcases a century of the latest and greatest innovations.”
The Aventho 300 are beyerdynamic’s new flagship wireless headphones, featuring the brand’s iconic STELLAR.45 drivers used in excellent wired offerings like the beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro X and DT 700 Pro X, support for Bluetooth 5.4 and codecs like aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless and LE Audio.
The headphones are Apple MFi certified and come with Dolby Head Tracking technology for immersive spatial audio that will adapt to the wearer’s head movements. There’s also adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) powered by dual Sony chipsets on either side for customisable and consistent noise cancellation.
With aluminium yokes that are able to swivel and fold, the Aventho 300 is easily packable and has up to 50 hours of battery life with ANC switched on.
For people who want something a little smaller, there’s the Amiron 300 true wireless earbuds. Packing 10mm drivers in a shell that’s designed for comfortable wearing, the earbuds boast excellent battery life. beyerdynamic claims the earbuds can get up to 10 hours of continuous playtime, with a total battery life of 38 hours when including the charging case.
There’s also quick charging, with a 10-minute charge providing an extra two hours of battery life.
With Bluetooth 5.3, multipoint connectivity and support for SBC, AAC and the high-res LDAC codec, these earbuds look like they’ll be a solid option for people who have their earbuds in for long hours each day.
The beyerdynamic Aventho 300 Headphones is priced at $649 and the Amiron 300 True Wireless Earbuds at $399 in Australia, they will be available from Mid-October.
We are expecting to see these latest beyerdynamic headphones at the upcoming StereoNET Melbourne Hi-Fi & AV Show, which will be happening from October 11-13. Tickets are on sale now.

applause awards
Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.
Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.
The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.
We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
