Kingfisher Audio is a father and son collaboration born from a love of music and great sound. We focus on small-scale production and quality craftsmanship, science-based speaker design and premium components to craft no-compromise loudspeakers.
We use Australian plantation grown pine plywood and source our veneers from trees cut down by local arborists. For you this means your pair of Kingfisher Audio speakers are completely unique and although we try to keep some timber consistently in stock, your options will match what is currently available. Some examples are White Cedar, Australian Blackwood, Silky Oak, Red Cedar and Bloodwood.
The price of our speakers is made up almost entirely by the cost of materials and our labour - not inflated by large marketing budgets or shop frontage. Our approach is to keep it simple, produce small numbers of high-quality speakers and let the products speak for themselves.

Instead of using commercially available ultra thin veneers, we make our veneers in house from logs we source from local tree surgeons. This way we are able to control the seasoning process from start to finish to end up with ideal veneers for our designs.
