I picked this up for the 1228 deck it had in it. The lid is in pretty good shape and I'm sure it could be used on other dual plinths, though the hinge on the front of the lid has become unattached, it would just need gluing back on as that's how it was attached from factory. The overall cosmetic condition is good. Never switched it on. It's a 220v version. Model is a HS150. All dials are there. I'm hoping someone has a good donor deck they could reinstall and bring it back to life. Otherwise its-

Free to a lucky Stereonet member who wants to see this repaired It does turn on and play some CDs consistently and in full, others it will jump around and others come up with 'no disc'. Does sound quite good to excellent when it works. I have tried to adjust the laser voltage but can't find a happy spot. My guess is a laser replacement will see many years of enjoyment. UPDATE at 10 Sept 2024: Turntable works. I gave it a dust-off and had a go at cleaning the stylus. I tried one of my records which will soon be publicly available. It plays records. Ufortunately, it did not sound great. Could have been the condition of the stylus or the dust transferring from the record to the stylus. Or something else - but it was recognisable as music. It may be worthwhile giving it to a child to learn on, or perhaps use it for cleaning records-
