Excellent condition Border Patrol DAC. 

SEi USB and SPDIF inputs and has the factory supplied Jupiter Caps upgrade.  The Jupiter caps were a significant upgrade to an already excellent DAC that punches well above its weight.

I also fitted a Synergistic Research Orange fuse and a vintage British Mullard EZ80 rectifier valve.  Both of these changes provided further improvements. 

Comes with original packaging, manual, stock power cord and the original caps.

A non-oversampling (NOS), no digital filtering Phillips TDA1543 R2R DAC chip circuit with no output buffering.
A painted copper metal chassis.
A tube/solid-state hybrid choke input filter power supply featuring an EZ80 tube rectifier. (To our knowledge, BorderPatrol is the only company applying tube rectification and choke input filtering to digital circuits.)
