Hi, this is a 16-inch M1 Max Macbook Pro, space grey, in “almost immaculate” condition. Purchased new just under two years ago and has been lightly used mostly on a desktop stand in “clamshell mode.” As a result it is in very excellent condition.
Main specs:
M1 Max chip with 10 CPU cores and 32 GPU cores
32 GB RAM
400 GB/s memory bandwidth
1 TB storage (and it's fast too)
Liquid Retina XDR 16-inch screen, 3456-by-2234 native resolution at 254 pixels per inch, ProMotion up to 120 Hz
Up to four external displays (6k on the thunderbolt ports and 4k on the HDMI port)
100 Wh battery
140 W power supply with Magsafe cable
Key usage stats (see screenshots, note that these may change slightly by the time the laptop is sold):
Battery condition: normal (according to the System information app)
Battery maximum capacity: 98%
Battery cycle count: 36
SSD data written: 22.2 TB (according to DriveDX)
SSD lifetime left: 98%
SSD power-on time: 969 hours (less than six weeks continuous )
There is a very small ding on the lid near the top rear corner (see photo), a few very small marks on the sides and some scuffing on one side of the power brick. It comes with the original box, and in addition the Apple shipping box. Whenever I used it in laptop mode, I had a cover on the keyboard so the keyboard is very clean. If you wish, I'll include an InCase hard shell for the price of the extra postage.
I originally bought it because I needed to drive three external screens which you can only do with the Max version of the Apple chips. Also, because I had been unable to find a quiet small desktop; this machine fit the bill, as with light to moderate use the fans are turned completely off. The fans do come on when the GPU is worked hard e.g. when playing games. (Note: even with the current M4 Macbook Pros you cannot drive more than two external screens unless you step up to the Max chip.)
However I no longer have my office set up that way and this has become a little bit redundant for my needs, hence the sale.
Local buyers are of course welcome to inspect, otherwise I’d be happy to discuss on the phone and possibly do a video call so you can see it. Shipping would be at buyer’s expense.
Thanks for looking, feel free to ask any questions or if you need more photos etc
