Further Information

Up for sale is a bespoke turntable, designed and built by myself. It comprises:

 - Denon DP 3000 Direct Drive motor unit

 - 240/110 volt step down mains transformer - required to power the Denon unit (RRP approx $50)

 - Acos Lustre GST-1 Tonearm - fixed base version. Mounted on polished black acrylic arm board. (Typical Ebay price range  $300-400 for the fixed base version).

 - Garrott K3 Moving Iron Cartridge (almost new - less than 20 hours  since the stylus was replaced). RRP $469.

 - Gloss painted black MDF plinth with striking double triangular design.

 - Adjustable spiked brass feet and bases

The turntable has been hand crafted with careful and meticulous attention to detail regarding the arm and motor installation into the unique plinth. It runs silently and with minimal tracking surface noise - a sure sign that the geometry is perfect. The sound quality is excellent.

The appearance of the unit is much more striking in the flesh than I have been able to capture in the pictures. The pictures seem to highlight every blemish in the plinth whereas in reality these are not at all visible from any more than about a metre away.

Very happy to arrange an inspection and demonstration for serious buyers at Golden Grove. The sound quality of this will surprise any prospective buyer.
