Toshiba SR 255 Direct Drive Turntable. This is a high quality direct drive deck in great working condition. It features a composite plinth / body, a servo direct drive motor, and is fully manual in operation (rare for this sort of deck). I have had this for a couple of years but not really used it - a previous owner had the power supply recapped. More specs on this deck are available here. Also included is a low hours Audio Technica AT VM95ML cartridge (includes box). Together the deck and the cartridge makes a beautiful sound, and is a perfect high quality starter turntable or second deck.
Works perfectly, but a few small issues: a) there is no dustcover; b) as pictured, at some point a serial number was engraved in the side (annoying, but not really noticeable); c) when I got the deck I did not have the original headshell. I have used an old aluminium headshell, which allows for the alignment as per specifications.
As there is no dustcover, pick up only in Homebush West, NSW.
