Further Information

Up for sale is an Apple IIe A2S2064X.

The Apple IIe powers up and appears to work. No diagnostics have been run.

Sale includes:

  • Apple IIe
  • ColorMonitor IIe
  • Monitor cable
  • Joystick
  • 12" DD
  • 2 power cables

I have a Mac Classic (Oct 1990) that can be included in the sale. It does not power up as there is a loose component inside. A long torque screwdriver is required to open the shell and I'm too lazy to go buy one to see what needs to be re-seated. Anyway it can be included or not, up to the buyer. Comes with Apple Keyboard II and Apple Desktop Bus Mouse.

This is pickup only or I can drop it into Melbourne CBD next time I drive down (which is rare).

That Mac Classic reminds me of a scene in Season One of the CBS tv show "Northern Exposure". Retro cool. GLWTS.

I know Northern Exposure well! S1, well that's as old as the Classic. At the time the Classic cost $1995 (almost $5000 in todays $$, wow).

Hi.  Is this the current model?  Does it have any of it's warranty left?

Thank you!

Just unboxed but have realised it's not Roon Ready or HQplayer compatible so it's gotta go!

Loving my vintage Shindo, idler's, obscure 1930's German and European 4 volt rectifiers, horns and field coils I thought it would be great to see if vintage computers were the secret to killer digital sound.........

Commonwealth and Shindo Garrard 301 look out, there's a new / old digital game in town.

First computer I ever owned. Think I was about 16.  Had a lot of fun learning basic and Fortran.

You're not far from me, if my office didn't already look like an Apple graveyard I'd grab it for posterity.

I've been tending my Mac then PC graveyard for 30yrs.

Decided to clear everything. I'll regret it but what doesn't sell goes out for e-recycling. 😔

If it doesn't sell and If you want it at the end of the listing let me know and I'll bring it to your consecrated ground!

what a wonderful piece of computing history with the colour monitor & everything.
the computer that started it all.
functionally worthless, imminently collectable.
if I were in vic i'd be there in a heartbeat

If you bring me to tears!

Yes, it's pretty amazing history. I'm tempted to keep it but I'm now on a mission. 😍

None of the above I'm afraid. The only game I played on the IIe was Wolfenstein. Gosh, over 40 years back🤔
