We bought this amplifier new about 2 years ago for our living room TV system to drive Usher S-520 loudspeakers.
It was replacing a broken Peachtree iDecco – most likely it broke because our cat liked to rest on top of it and blocked the cooling vents.
The NAD C328 is a very good sounding amplifier and being class-D hybrid, it runs cool, has no vents and therefore it is cat-safe and infant-safe.
After almost 1 year of waiting for the correct parts, our Peachtree iDecco was repaired. My wife has chosen to keep the iDecco and sell the NAD C 328 for two reasons –
(1) the iDecco on/off switch and the volume control respond faster than the NAD ... and
(2) my wife prefers the somewhat art deco styling of the Peachtree.
So we are selling the NAD C 328.
Personally, I think the NAD is a much better quality amplifier. It also has the benefit of Bluetooth connection to stream from a phone or tablet or computer.
And it has a built in phono stage for direct and easy connection of a turntable. (We did not use Bluetooth or turntable as source.)
The quality and usability of the NAD C 328 remote control have been discussed by reviewers and might be important for some users.
