Here is an EAR 834P phono stage, MM/MC version with attenuator. I think this phono stage's legend precedes it.

I bought it from the original buyer who got out of vinyl many years ago and it had been safely stored since. It had received minimal use and was well taken care of with close to new presentation inside and out. I have used it sparingly, and it was only in play for short stretches in a second system. It is now singing in my office system and works magically with my Ortofon Jubilee MC cart, but as my Croft phono stage hasn't sold, I'll need to let this one go instead. It will come with Edicron ECC83 tubes which are all I've used in it aside from rolling just one NOS Telefunken AX7 tube in each three positions and it was remarkable the different characteristics this provided, so if you have, or want to play with other brands, it will be a lot of fun and you could tune the sound signature to your tastes. The background is incredibly silent and also the attenuator is incredibly quiet and also nice to use.
