STAX SR-2020 combo (a.k.a. Stax Basic System 2) comprised of the SR-202 Earspeakers and the SRM-212 Energizer/Amplifier. This combo is one of the most budget friendly ways to enter into the electrostatic HiFi headphone world.

The SR-2020 was originally released in 1999, and has since been discontinued and replaced with other earspeakers such as the L300; but for a significantly higher starting price...

I've held onto this combo for ~5 years, and have taken great care of it (stored in dust cover on a stand when not being used, etc). As much as i've loved this setup, i'm now selling it as i've upgraded further up the Stax chain. I've marked the condition as "good" due to the age of the unit (approx 15-20 years)

The system still works perfectly and sounds amazing, however some wear and tear exists:
* foam has been removed due to deterioration (a common procedure for older stax products; the foam is redundant),
* earpad wear

* DC power supply + Japanese polarity adapter (note that stax DC plug polarity is the inverse of what is typical for DC plugs in Australia)

Original box is not included (i did not receive it from previous seller).
