For Sale Sony UBPX800 Blu-ray Player

I’ve been using this Blu-ray player as my SACD transport, connecting the coaxial output to my DAC and HDMI directly to my Marantz HT receiver. It plays SACDs and CDs seamlessly without any issues. The player has always been reliable and, most importantly, sounds great (depending on the DAC).

I’m selling it because I upgraded to a Denon SACD player. Since then, this Sony player has been stored in a storeroom. I recently tested it over the past week to ensure it’s working flawlessly.

Purchased three years ago, but it was only used for about 1.5 years after I got the Denon. Unfortunately, I no longer have the box (either misplaced or thrown away by my wife), so this is for pickup only. It comes with the original remote and works as it should.

My only minor complaint is that it doesn’t have a screen to display the track number. However, this never really bothered me, as I don’t usually look at the screen while listening. You can turn on the TV to see the track info and what’s currently playing. Additionally, this player can also be used for Netflix streaming.
