The unit itself is in excellent condition. New valves last October.
The unit turns on. Goes through the mandatory 30 second valve warm up, The loading door opens sometimes and then closes straight away. If you’re really quick you can load a CD, but not advisable as you may scratch your CD. Sometimes it plays through and sounds wonderful. Other times it plays about halfway and stops. All the buttons work as they should. Remote control is also in very good condition and works as it should. So the short answer is I don’t know what the problem is. So I am selling it for parts or restoration. I think the remote is worth the selling price alone. I think I have the Original box, so freight at buyers expense. More photos available on request.
