Further Information

I purchased these speakers from Adrian last year. Speakers are still on pallets in my garage and have not been used since delivered.

 

We are renovating our home and I thought I had space for a dedicated listening room, which is converting to a gym (mrs' orders) - I think these are too good to put in our kitchen, but will reluctantly do so if I can't sell!

Are you sure that RRP is correct for this model?

Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but isn't the TX the latest model?

These are still phenomenal speakers, but I believe the MK2 advertised here was the previous generation (before the RRP skyrocketed).

That is correct - but I have no idea what the RRP was when I bought them? So thought this was best reference. 
 

I think this is the lowest advertised price I've seen on here for a black pair?

They were around the $90K-$100K RRP mark from memory. As I said, the MSRP skyrocketed for the new model in the last couple of years.

Ok - I can't seem to amend the ad - but my understanding is they are sonically similar just different finishes.

That’s the new tx model. 
I had 2 pairs of the Mk2’s, the rrp at the time in AUD was $89,000.  I purchased the first pair in Australia from Sydney Hifi when they were the dealer. 
The piano black was a special order, maybe 5-10k more.

At this price, this model (the best value for money IMO), is exceptional buying. If I was in the market for end-game speakers I would have been all over these.
