Purchased from Be Quiet… Listen back in 2020. You’d struggle to find a better sounding pair of speakers under 10K. Originally I wanted NS5000’s but after hearing these I’m convinced they’re superior in all respects. Late serial numbers, they are VGC for age, some small imperfections on cabinets and mild oxidation on bolts etc. They also include the genuine Yamaha stands which are virtually impossible to find.  I’ve driven them with tubes and solid state and they’ve always managed to captivate with pinpoint imaging and complete clarity. Auditions welcome, you won’t be disappointed. Any questions feel free to ask.

Hi There,

 

Curious to know if you auditioned these side by side to a pair of NS5000's? I have a pair of NS5000's and think they are brilliant so could be interested in these.

Don’t get me wrong, the 5000’s are wonderful but for me nothing beats the Beryllium drivers of the 2000’s. I live about 2 min from a store here in Brisbane that have 5000’s on permanent demonstration so have spent a bit of time listening to both. If you’re around drop me a DM.
