I bought these speakers (I am the first owner) from the previous Australian distributor. (Now, they sell direct through Amazon and there is a new Oz distributor, but local prices seem very high compared to Amazon.)

I've had these set up in my study for the last few years. We are a no-smoking home and, being used in my small study, they've never been played all that loud.

Compared to most bookshelf speakers, key points are:

• beautiful piano finish (some microswirls on top - not visible unless you are looking for them under bright light from less than a couple of feet away...)
• aluminium dome tweeter gives a really articulate top end
• seriously heavy sealed cabinets with bevelled top corners
• detachable grilles (no holes or tears).

I have the original cartons with foams, cloth bags, plastic bags and instructions. Each box is 22 x 36 x 27cm. Each loaded carton weighs 4.2kg. Remember: if you want this shipped, there will be two cartons.
