Marantz CD player model CD-80 in very good condition. Read dics very fast. Typical Marantz sweet and warm sounding. Very  musical.

Unit in very good condition for its age. Can be transport but prefer pick up due to missing transport lock key. 

Come with original remote control and manual. Have a good size box for transport.

Note: one modification I made to the CD player is an iec so people can use any type of power cable they want. Please refer to photo. 

Can be pack up and ship at buyer cost.

The Marantz CD-80 was one of two cd players I considered when I was putting together my first floorstanding hifi system back in 1992;  the other being a JVC XL-Z1050. The Marantz was about the same price as the JVC at the time. I recall it was built like a tank, and sounded smooth, rich and a little on the warm side. For my tastes, and in the context of my overall system balance, I preferred the sound of JVC and went with that player. But the CD-80 will shine in the right system for sure. GLWTS.
