Further Information

The sale price of $1100 is for a package containing the tonearm, an improved aftermarket mounting collar and an armboard to suit a Technics SL1200/1210. If you don't require the armboard as you'll be mounting on a different turntable then I will sell for $900.

Please see below for more details:

I had this 750D mounted to my Technics SL1210M3D for many years but am now selling as I upgraded to a 9" Glanz tonearm. As you can see from the photos it is in excellent condition and it performed flawlessly over the time I was using it. Such a classic tonearm and certainly a worthy upgrade from the standard Technics arm.

Also shown in photos is the aftermarket mounting collar from Ammonite Audio in the UK which is included in the sale.

Hugh Cass from Ammonite designed this himself as an improvement upon the standard collar. As you can see from the photos the design of this collar eliminates any chance of the tonearm pillar not being exactly vertical which according to Hugh could happen with original collar.

Lastly shown in photos is the armboard which I used to mount the 750D to my SL1210M3D. It is hand made from African Blackwood by Magna Audio in the UK.

If you intend to mount the 750D to a Technics SL1200/1210 then I will include this in the sale but if you are mounting to a completely different turntable then this would be no use to you. The fixings shown in the last photo are specifically for the M3D model as each different SL1200 model requires slightly different blind nut plates. If you wanted to fit this armboard to a Mk2 model for example you would need to get different blind nut plates from Steve at Magna Audio, or of course you could make them yourself if you're that way inclined.

Please feel free to ask any questions you might have and I will do my best to answer and quickly as possible. Postage cost is not included in the sale price.
