Further Information

As they say, nothing is forever. My audiophile journey was hard and fast, moving up many rungs of the ladder fast. I found what I was looking for and in my quest I have not yet heard something better. Alas, I've scratched that itch, and life circumstances change. We're about to embark on the next chapter of our journey as a family and the Everests don't look to feature in our anticipated style of living.

It's time to pass them on. They are the only pair of current model DD67000 to be officially delivered and sold into Australia via Harman.

Quote

Designed and engineered in JBL’s world-famous acoustic engineering facility in Northridge, California, and using the most advanced technologies and best components available, Project Everest DD67000 is one of the most sophisticated and sought-after speaker system available at any price. This three-way speaker features dual 15-inch (380mm) three-layer sandwich cone woofers, a 4-inch (100mm) pure beryllium compression driver and a 1-inch (25mm) pure-beryllium ultra high-frequency driver for a superlative listening experience.

Manufacturer's Information: https://www.jbl.com/floorstanding/DD67000RW-.html

These are factory Rosewood finish, and I had them professionally wrapped with high-end 3M automotive grade vinyl in a Porsche silver/grey metallic vinyl. It is 100% reversible - but personally I think they look much classier in this finish myself.

I still have the original packaging/cartons, and all literature that was supplied with them in my local storage unit. Shipping is possible at your cost, and I would assist with the organisation of that. I would suggest the involvement of a professional removalist, but happy to have these discussions with a genuine buyer.

They will also be supplied with a complete set of Isoacoustics Titan isolation feet, along with custom made adaptors to suit the Everests. From memory, it was around $5,000 worth at retail price at the time.

I understand the wait time for a new pair of Everests has always been around 12 months, but heard recently it has blown out to 18 months now.

They present "As New", but I have marked them as Excellent according to StereoNET's own condition guidelines.

I took delivery towards the end of COVID lockdowns. They have been lovingly used, but not abused. Happy to answer any further questions.

Audition is technically possible, but note they are running as part of an integrated AV system now, powered by Mark Levinson ML50 Limited Edition mono amplifiers which will also be available for sale.

The price has been reduced by $10,000 for a sale, but I'm in no hurry. This will be the last time they are advertised before they otherwise go into storage to be  determined whether I can find a spot for them in the new place down the track.

If I win powerball tonight, I'll drop by on the weekend and pick them up.

Always wanted to listen to JBL speakers at home

Might as well start with the best 👌 😋
