Further Information

For sale is this Roon Nucleus Plus (Rev A).  The Nucleus Plus has NUC7i7BNH with i7-7567U processor and is capable of upsampling to high levels of PCM and DSD (from PCM files). I'm selling the unit with a Gieseler Kraftwerk II Power Supply, as the wall wart that comes with the Nucleus Plus is not capable of supporting the unit when it is doing high levels of processing (upsampling). I previously had tried an SBooster PS, but it was also inadequate. Clay was good enough to build me a 19V, 3.5A PS that works perfectly with the Nucleus Plus and brought about a very noticeable lift in sound quality. Given these synergies, I'm very keen to sell the Nucleus Plus with the Power Supply (which is included in the $1,100 price). The upsampling facility provides a noticeable lift in Sound Quality also. Once you have your Roon Subscription, the unit is truely plug and play. It will integrate seamlessly with a NAS or you can install your own internal hard drive. I ran it directly into my DAC. I had no problems locating it with the rest of my stereo gear as it's very quiet.

I also have a Samsung 4TB SSD, that can be added to the sale, at a price to be negotiated. Please note the unit DOES NOT come with a Roon Subscription. Postage is not included in the price and can be calculated if the units are to be posted (the both have the original packaging).

With Clay's power supply, the unit is very stable and I've been very happy with it. The only reason we're parting company, is that I've moved to HqPlayer (still using Roon as my music organiser). No Roon hardware will accommodate HqPlayer.
