Extremely rare 1964 Transcriptors hydraulic reference turntable manufacturer by J.A Michell in London England it has the original upgraded SME 3009 improved mark 2 tonearm, NOS Audiotecna TK7E cartridge, original transistor scale, NOS in original sweep arm in original packaging that I have never seen another and original cover.

"Hydraulic" references to the silicon filled bath under the platter used to control the turntable speed.

This turntable became extremely desirable from appearing in movies the likes of A Clockwork Orange (1971) and The Look Of Love (2013) this model of turntable is in a number of museums of modern art and also received the London Design Award for design.

This turntable is in condition relevant to its age being from 1964 the only upgrade was to have the tonearm rewired with pure silver cables.

I have not touched the patina as it gives one a look into the life it has lived.

The deck works awesomely and gets weekly use and always the center of attention.

It is the only one available for sale is Australian at the moment.
