Wonderful unit, that has a fantastic sound presentation especially when coupled with right amplification.
 

It is built like a tank, with plenty of reviews that express the sound characteristic’s much better than I can and certainly more than happy to demo for serious buyers.

What a brilliant dac at a bargain price

Yes the N-01XD is  a truely top sounding DAC, in fact I can’t fault the sound as it has  4 power supplies (3 in use if not using the network feature) that results in a tone with body and presence.

 

The USB input is done properly. And if connecting via a CD/SACD player in transport mode it really delivers also with plenty of input types including AES.

 

Highly recommended DAC.
