For sale, a pair of Sonique 5.5SE Australian-made floorstanding speakers. The 3 driver 2 way speakers are finished in American Oak wood veneer. The speakers are genuine one owner since new and are in flawless condition.

Speaker dimensions are: H 980 x W190 x D270. Each speaker weighs 24kg. The Soniques sit on adjustable metal spikes with floor protector bases, and include black acoustic mesh grills. A double set of binding posts enables bi-wiring if desired. 

The speakers feature two 125mm SEAS mid/bass drivers coupled together and a Vifa 25mm soft dome tweeter in a D’Appolito array with the tweeter between the two mid/bass drivers. The Soniques are front ported.

These beautiful speakers’ build quality is superb. The cabinet baffle features 43mm MDF and the overall enclosure is 20mm real timber veneer. Cabinet resonance is managed by its solid internally braced construction, as well as acoustic foam treatment, a mineral-filled base and lead lining—resulting in a very rigid and inert cabinet. 

Given their overall dimensions and driver size, the Soniques put out an impressive and enjoyable sound across many music types from classical and jazz to rock, pop and blues.
