I've got one. I've owned it for 5+ years. It is staying in my system. MA Onyx is the first DAC I've not thought about selling.

Also, they're user upgradable with the newish DAC3 chips, a great step up in sound quality for not huge coin.

Thanks for your thoughts. Same with me - I just stopped thinking about and hearing the DAC after purchasing this. It’s so natural and clear, zero harshness. Gets out of the way and lets you enjoy the music.
