Excellent power cable. Larger gauge than the Sequel so it's far superior for amps. If I'm not mistaken, it's slightly larger gauge than the Optimum as well. 

 

Very good (noticeably better than the Sequel) for source and Excellent for amps. 

 

Only a few months old. The box isn't in the best condition but the cable itself is almost new. 

 

All under warranty and purchased from local Australian retailer.

The Elite has a different construction than the Sequel and even the Optimum and I initially thought it was more suitable for sources than amps.

The Elite uses a 7 core geometry as opposed to the 3 core geometry from the other two. I did some testing with my Home Theatre Amp. I had been using the Elite for a while and I have been very satisfied, and thought perhaps the Sequel would perform better for the amp. So I did a swap for the Sequel.

How wrong I was! With the Sequel everything was there, but the impact was gone, the dramatic explosions were not dramatic anymore, and there was simply less presence of everything. 

If you can't afford the superb Optimum cable, then the Elite will give you as much joy for less money. The Elite truly is a big jump from the Sequel and below.

And the Optimum, well, that cable does feel like it makes amps double in size!
