Built in 1996 and in as good condition as the day they were built. All speakers and subs measure perfectly. Sound better than anything I've heard for 4 times the price.
For those wanting a Listen they are being looked after by HiFi Guru in Adelaide and can be demonstrated there.
One original owner in a dedicated smoke free listening room. These were connected to Audio Research SP-11, Audio Research M300 MK2 mono blocks and a Mark Levinson No23 for the bass towers. These are all still available should the new owner want the same reference system.
The Infinity IRS Beta is the later and the more popular version of the IRS due to its size and genuine variation in driver size.
This results in a fuller sound and richer midrange than the larger IRS V.
These speakers are in excellent condition and sound wonderful.
One owner recently deceased hence the sale.
Despite their size and weight they work incredibly well in medium sized rooms. The advantage of the seperate crossover makes room placement and tuning very easy.
Currently playing in a room 4m wide and 6m deep.
They stand nearly 6 feet high and weight over 100kgs per side.
