This is a vavle tube buffer model SD - CD3. This unit is in between DAC and pre amp or CD player and pre amp. It purpose is to made sound softer like tube sound.
This is 230v. Retail price to import one from oversea to Australia is about $330.
This unit had been upgrade with expensive Capacitors ( cost for capacitors upgrade is about $250 ). Any one who buy this will save money. Please see upgrade photos and original capaitors photos.
It come with 2 China tubes.
I recomence to use old stock 6sn7 tubes to get a better sound again.
This unit without capacitors upgrade and tubes upgrade will nit improve much but with upgrade there is a huge improvement to sound for a very little money.
I have 2 units so I sale one.
