For Sale Marten Parker Duo Standmount Loudspeakers

For sale a Pair of Marten Parker Duo in Walnut finish with stands and iso feet. These are current model speakers that with stands and feet  retail for $26500. All original double box’s and  packaging , happy to palletise for shipping at buyers cost. I am only selling as we have downsized and wont be using the main system for some time as I no longer have a dedicated listening room .. I really enjoyed these speakers , they truly are something special providing an open even balanced sound that is at once revealing and not fatiguing( extremely difficult to achieve for any speaker) I am particularly sensitive to piano and in the past used mostly large Panels but decided to give these a try as Marten was a brand that I had never owned and wanted to get a feel for ( something you can only do over a long period of time ).. Incredible is the only word I can use.

I am extremely sensitive to Piano and probably for this reason why  panel speakers always appealed over the years, having dabbled  with Wilson’s and Sonus Faber inbetween panels these Marten’s do things that the older generation of high end floor standing ( and I am sure many of todays speakers just cannot ) and that is accurate portrayal of texture, timbre, tone, attack and decay, in a natural organic way . Truly impressive these Marten Parker’s are . We are privileged to have a European grand piano or two in the house and I must say with a good front end these are at times totally indistinguishable from the real thing ( I know of no greater compliment for any speaker ) . I would consider these over most floor standing speakers in the average/larger Australian house and not just in their price range. More often than not bigger boxes mean bigger problems . This is a special speaker that shouldn’t be overlooked just because it’s a stand mount .

Notes :There is a tiny dink on one of the stands; these are in excellent condition-most would list them as mint.
There are reflections in the photos the speakers are unmarked and of piano quality finish .

Marten has been around for many many years there has been a flurry of Scandi speaker manufacturers lately - buying a Marten means in 20 years you can more than likely still find spares ....Im not sure about the rest.
