For sale a Grace G-545 tonearm in excellent condition and confirmed to be in perfect working order. Unsure what denotes a G-545 or G-545f?

I have cleaned and detailed the arm and checked and cleaned all contacts from the headshell to the rca connectors. Everything is working as it should, it was installed on a Grace plinth with Garrard 401 I imported from Japan. If you want the plinth it's also available.

Included in the sale are the Grace tonearm cable, Grace headshell, the arm holder and the supex arm lifter. Also included is a Grace F-8 cartridge unfortunately with a broken cantilever. The only visual flaw I could find are some scratches to the arm tube from contact with the arm lifter body, the previous owner set it up too close to the tube. Very hard to see until you really look for it. I have polished these out as best as possible. Collect from Northcote 3070 or postage by request.

The G-545 arm is a static balance type top-ranked arm with such attractive features as ultra light weight head, divided weights and fine adjustment for stylus pressure. Despite it's high performance, the arm can be used in small player cases and can be used in a base designed for 12" arms due to the shortened rear overhang of the arm. A gimbal gyroscopic pivoting mechanism is incorporated to ensure supreme stereo reproduction. Maximum strength with minimum weight is achieved by using 10mm diameter alloy pipe which also contributes to excellent tracking ability. An F type headshell has been specially designed for this arm by our engineering staff; the holes in it are to minimise the weight and for mounting the cartridge. The main weight is divided into two parts (light and heavier) to allow easier weight balancing. Graduations on the newer sub-weight holder give easy stylus pressure adjustment, ranging from 0 to 3g with the standard weight and 0 to 1.5g with the smaller weight. New style arm rest does not harm the gimbal pivot bearing. Moulded five core audio cord offers easier and steadier wire contact. Wide range of level adjustment is available with the LB base. Vibration is entirely eliminated by the use of damping materials, skilfully incorporated in the mechanism. Lateral balance and stability control can be adjusted manually. The G-545 shows its excellence when used in combination with a high class cartridge operating at less than 1g stylus pressure.
