Further Information

Ms Zingmore:' What are those monstrosities"

Me: "Probably the best speakers I've ever owned."

Ms Zingmore: "Certainly the ugliest speakers you've ever owned, I hate them"

Me" "You've put up with all my other hifi nonsense, you'll get used to them"

A few days ago

Ms Zingmore: "I still hate them"

me: 😭

These are the real deal, three-way horns (the massive tower is a downward firing bass-horn) and 109dB

Purchased from Krispy Audio by the previous owner.

See link for details

https://krispyaudio.com.au/products/tune-audio-anima-horn-speakers.html

Also, would you have a look at the RRP and tell me I'm not crazy!

The valve amp in one of the pics is a lovely low-powered unit from Australian manufacturer NanoAT. It pairs nicely with the Animas, I'll be listing it separately but can do a deal on a combined price

No boxes, so local pickup only

Appearance is certainly subjective, but having heard a pair of these they are exceptional.

I would have thought the green plate to the side was a perfect complimentary visual distraction to the speakers.

Sir Sander Zingmore: She doesn't approve, what's wrong with these speakers?

Silver Audiophile: Absolutely nothing at all!  😊

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally see them as master crafted, very beautiful indeed. All the best. Until they sell keep finding the enjoyment every time you listen.

I’ve heard these and they go really well with quality valve amplification, and a decent sized room - heaven!

You definitely wouldn't be having this problem if they were the purple version 💜

I was at the National Gallery, Canberra, at the weekend.  These wouldn't have looked out of place in the Sculpture section...... and would have been a LOT more expensive to have landed there!

Sir Sanders..... maybe sell them to Ms Zingmore as avant-garde sculpture??      ;)

Perhaps I should suggest getting them repainted!

That's a helluva lot of speaker for the money. Bargain of the year so far IMO!

How does one go about transporting these or even pick them up?

The horns are removable which makes it much simpler (and safer)
When I bought them, the seller bubble wrapped the horns (although the mid horns are pretty sturdy) and I got an airtasker quote for delivery. It was surprisingly quick and easy.

I was thinking I'd need to wait until the weather clears, they'd get wet in the back on the ute.  Ive always wanted to try some horns, I'll have a think.

Shrink wrap them from the bottom up - cheap and effective.

There's plenty of other protective covering out there for moisture and transit.

Did these just mysteriously appear in your lounge room one day and they lasted a year! Your wife is very tolerant.

Congrats @sir sanders zingmore - though I'm not sure it's helping find a buyer! 🙂

...sneaks up behind Marc and jams a stiff salami into his ribcage . Sorry Marc but @Eggmeister made me do it, buy the Horns or suffer the consequences he said. I'm guessing that's his threat of coming to your place and blasting Celine Dion non stop till the Horns reside once more in the Western side of town.
