"The Marquis, like all Duntech’s designs are also a time aligned, five driver arrangement loudspeaker. The bass and mid-range drivers have diecast magnesium chassis. The bass drivers use a vented magnet system and feature a special, coated, pulp paper cone. The mid-range drivers are double magnet design and have rubber suspension for low resonance. The double chamber tweeter is dome type, with a fabric diaphragm and ferrofluid for efficient cooling and damping. The cabinet is designed to provide optimum rigidity and its size has been matched to the performance requirements of the drivers. All drivers have separate sealed enclosures. Acoustic felt is matched to the requirements of the loudspeaker and tailored to the geometry of the enclosure. The loudspeaker grill is covered with acoustically transparent cloth and the cabinet is hand finished in high quality wood veneers."

My first Duntech speakers, were a new pair of Marquis. I've since 2018 upgraded to the new Duntech Senators, and couldn't be happier.

Remember prior auditioning a used Marquis pair at Len Wallis Audio in 2005 and did a A-B comparison all afternoon against the new Focal speaker that retailed for $60,000. Despite the used Marquis selling for 1/30th the price, there was no contest! The Marquis pair sounded better in almost every respect. The Focal had a slight edge on a tighter bass. It was at that moment I realised an important lesson in HiFi, price and performance are'nt necessarily correlated!

Absolutely, zero need to alter the price mate.

Side by side with a new Focal Sopra 3, that Marquis will eat it alive for audio performance.

Thought it only fair to match the price I have on Facebook marketplace. The fees here are fine, and for me to pay.
