Another price drop!!!!
I am reposting my  Altair G1.1 at a much reduced price. It was purchased in December last year from Douglas Hifi. It has a 2tb hard drive installed. I have upgraded to the 2.1 and this has been sitting unused for two months so time to move it on. It would come with rest of warranty and I have the receipt. I have the box so can ship.
 

This is a very versatile DAC streamer and pre amp. It has had a number of great reviews. Just look up online. A sample here

I transferred my previous Bluesound library to the hard drive and ripped any new cds which is a simple process. Happy to answer any questions , just PM me. can include more photos. I also have a balanced to unbalanced cable new in box that I can include.

 

I think that this is an even bigger bargain at the reduced price but I need to move it on.

Hi Mate, I'm interested in your DAC/Streamer...

 

If you could describe the sonic signature of this DAC, how would you describe it? I'm currently running an Innous Mini Mk3 with LPSU into a PS Audio Directstream Jnr which I would move on but only if I'm confident I will hear a bump in sonic performance.

Hi Matt

Just saw this so sorry for the late reply. I find the sound to be very open and clear. I move the filters between Precise and smooth. There are a lot of reviews out there. The jump in sound from my Bluesound node was night and day.

The versatility of the Altair is next level. I have used as a preamp to drive power amp and through the Luxman integrated with both sounding great. I have kept the signature sound with the GW

2.1

 

Note I have reduced this further as I have been told to move it on.
