For sale is a modified / upgraded Lovan hifi / stereo rack / shelf unit in excellent condition.
The metal frames, including legs and horizonal rails, have been filled will kiln dried sand to virtually eliminate ringing and significantly reduce vibration. The frames almost present as new condition.
The shelves are custom 18mm MDF shaped to dissipate vibration and provide heat ventilation. These are significantly more rigid than the original thin shelves.
A custom turntable / CD player granite platform, bonded to 32mm MDF, is fitted via three metal spiked feet to the rack. The platform alone weighs about 30kg, further eliminating unwanted vibration and ringing.
This is an excellent performing rack, particularly for turntable use.
