This is a mint condition SACD Player.  Very rare use,  kept on shelf with no smoke and no dust.

 

Very heavy, about 14kg.

Sorry, no original box.  Will consider to do the delivery by discussing.

DSD data disc playback support

In addition to CD and Super Audio CD, the DCD-2500NE can play DSD (2.8 Mhz / 5.6 MHz) files and high-resolution files up to 192 kHz / 24 bits recorded on DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW discs. Music files with sampling frequencies of up to 48 kHz recorded on CD-R/RW discs can also be played.

I have one of these. I also auditioned a McIntosh player that cost more and I coveted from a “match other stuff” point of view, but this Denon player just hands down sounded better. No regrets, I think it is very good and Denon seems underrated, you just don’t hear much about them here. Exceptional buying at this price.

I also have one, and the much older Denon DCD2000AESP (which still operates perfectly). Definitely underrated and built to last. An excellent buy at a great price.

Players like this are just so reliable and make musical enjoyment easy peasy. Streaming begone!

 

Just buy, place in rack connected by some decent iC cables and simply enjoy high quality music for the rest of your life.

  No firmware/software updates, drop outs, glitchy interfaces, just press play and relax.
