Green Wagon Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Briefly, the JBL L212 is the 70's (?) version of a sub/sat system. This post is about the satellite speakers. Previous post about the separate sub woofer can be found here -> http://www.stereo.net.au/forums/index.php/topic/87432-jbl-l212-bass-energizer-pic-heavy/ This is no simple recap. The owner has always wanted to try a Charge Coupled Crossover. And here it is............ Sadly again I have no idea how they sound as the sat's bass driver is off being rebuilt. Anyway. Have some pics... This is the complete system. Really very pretty. Another of the things I'd own based purely on looks.... The main part of the enclosure separates from the veneered foot. Old crossover being removed (We previously threw some bypass caps on it. Don't think he ever got to hear them this way before sending the bass drivers away and then starting the CC mods). The new CC crossovers ready to go in. Also swapped out the wiring. Jantzen 'standard' for the input and bass, Jantzen Bi-wire for the mid and tweeter. The back. The cover is a two piece casing where the front shell clips on, then on goes the flat back piece. (no pic of the back. It's just the same as front but flat) 1
