  1. @alex87 & I remember listening to the magic yours made. Highly underrated and overlooked speaker by those not fortunate enough to have experienced. Would love to have a pair in my own home but then the Minister for Finance would make sure I didn't have a home. GLWTS
  2. Your great grills on/off job on the photos has not gone unnoticed. Sorry this post doesn't help with the sale. GLWTS
  3. Know the seller personally. One of the most worldly and honourable people I've known. Top bloke to boot. Buy with absolute confidence
  4. They don't make them like they used to. Cheaper and easier to make square/box cabinets these days I suppose and call them upgrades/better. Internal waves off parallel walls must behave differently these days. Great bang4buck these. GLWS
  5. Wow. Don't think I'd sell mine for this little. If ever. Great price. Nothing goes wrong with these things. Power's not everything but that rating is ALL channels driven. Make an awesome front stage especially with music for AVR upgrade for this . Hope I didn't overstep corza13
  6. Looks like the build date was 38th week. Wish my lotto numbers were this close (pics added after)
  7. Don't think Bryston care for a receipt or how many owners it's had. Just a build date which is on the back. eg 11 37 (37th week of 2011). On the very rare times these require repair they have done so even outside the 20yrs. These amps are unbelievable if you want nothing added/subtracted from your music. And they grab your speakers by the scruff and don't let go
  8. Most of us would probably have been 'all over this' if price was for both GLWTS
  9. I've never owned a piece of Rotel equipment but isn't/wasn't the RCD1570 a slot loader? RCD1572 maybe?
  10. Great effort on the photo's. Many could learn. GLWS
  11. Was my EASY ( pwr amp) choice over Primare A32 and McIntosh MC252 back in mid 2000's when home auditioned back to back. Awesome amps. Could easily say more. Hope you don't mind PG. GLWS PG?
  12. Was recently listening to my system whilst 'stomping' out some emails when I started to realize that the music wasn't engaging me as much as usual. So I put said emails to the side and started to pay more attention. Sitting back and trying to lower my heart rate I set out to narrow down what was different. Why was it different. Lower the volume. Increase the volume. What had changed? I then reset my components. Swapped from streaming media to physical media and back again. Put on my go to tracks. What I was noticing mainly was the lack of dynamics. Everything had shrunk, big time. Then I remembered. I had in fact made a change in my system in last couple of months that I'd forgotten about cause I'd not turned on system for a few weeks due to work commitments and the TDF. I had purchased my first (used and well regarded) higher grade power cable and connected it to my pre/pro. Surely this couldn't have killed dynamics. Not to this extent. It's supposed to go the other way if anything. So back in with the $2 standard OEM cable. And bang! System restored. Dynamics were back where they'd been for the last 15yrs and performers were now separated in their own space as before. I have since tried swapping once more and trying to validated the more expensive and pretty cable but to no avail. I will maybe one day try it on my source or power amps but at this stage I have my doubts. Some may ask; What cable? What pre/pro.....etc. And I'd be happy to say. But suffice to say all well regarded stuff. That's my two cents and my mileage. I believe the way you feel ( mood/heart rate/stress/etc) on a given day/night makes much more difference to the way/what you hear than a connecting cable. Over the years I've tried big $$ interconnects and speaker cables with no obvious difference ( improvement?) or simple uncertainty which defeats the investment. Many say spend on speakers and amps. I tend to agree. But the fact that I did hear a difference, be it negative (shielding?), says that maybe other cables could go the other way. I have very rarely posted anywhere over the years but these days I feel I need to give a little back and believe I now have valid experience behind me to make an educated opinion and open my mouth ( fingers ?) For now I think I'll invest in more media and subs ?
  13. How about https://robertsonaudiocables.com.au/products/subwoofer-rca-cable Maybe over budget with shipping I bought two 4mtr ones last year. Quality wise was surprising. Surprisingly GOOD ?
