I've been in contact with the very helpful people at the Lifestyle Store - who I bought my HT system from. They recommended the Panasonic UB820 and said that the rear USB port will playback exFAT formatted material. Does anyone have this player and able to test this for me at all please? I'm trying to find one locally, but stock seems thin on the ground of most disc players.

I'd love a 4k/blu ray disc player with the USB capability..... supposedly the Sony X700 will allow this.

G'day all, I'm curious as to whether a Panasonic UB9000 will allow me to play an exFAT formatted USB drive of 2Tb? I have moved house and the new place means that the thousands of apartments around me mean that MKV using the VLC app skip constantly and audio is out of sync. Qucktime is fine over Airplay, but the rest just sucks. I have a PS5, but the controller sucks as a remote and I never play any games, so I'm thinking of the UB9000 as a change and I can use my Harmony remote and hopefully avoid skipping and the like. I'm open to any other suggestions as well. I have a much smaller DVD collection that I once had, but I would still like a high level of playback for when my smaller silver vinyl needs a play on a fancy laser machine. Thanks in advance. Tim.

Further information: An as new 13inch Model A1989 Mid-2019 MacBook Pro. 13inch 2.4ghz i5 processor 256gb SSD 16gb RAM Brand new from Apple last year, but just had the keyboard, battery and all associated repairs under the 'Keyboard Replacement Plan'. The keyboard for me was perfectly functional, but the 'f' and 'j' keys were cosmetically worn, which wasn't acceptable for me. Further information: I purchased this unit from The Lifestyle Store and it was delivered in mid July last year. An opportunity came up earlier this year on SNA for me to purchase the flagship Denon receiver at a price I could not refuse. I purchased the Denon on the 29th March and installed it in my system on March 30. The Anthem has been out of use since then and I just haven't gotten around to taking decent pictures and packing it suitably for shipping/collection. Everything is included and is in immaculate and perfect working order. You may also see that I was having HDMI issues with my HT setup, but this was nothing to do with the Anthem - but another issue with my now replaced Foxtel IQ4 box. This is not even 12months old and the RRP is $3899. I am slightly negotiable on price, but lowballers will be politely ignored. You can see that all packaging and manuals and accessories are all included and I am willing to ship at the purchasers expense through their courier of choice. I have recently sold a turntable through SNA and used Sendle with no issues at a significantly cheaper price than most other providers. Everything is packed and the MRX is ready to go to a new home.
