  1. That's the plan, but in all seriousness it is a good idea but i am also very happy with the original plan
  2. My wife just through me a curve ball she reckons it would look really good if the shelves are stained but the legs where painted black, its actually a really good idea i just wish she had thought of it sooner!
  3. lol that's for under the house, sometimes i have to live there when wife is not happy lol
  4. Thank you it took me long enough to get around to it but i am happy it is nearly finished, just to clarify the bottom looks like the top only a little higher
  5. so i have been wanting to build a new hifi cabinet for my gear and after a couple of years of procrastinating i have finally started the build the shelves are separated by 70mm x 70mm pine posts each of which have a 16mm hole through the center to allow for a 12mm threaded rod to pass through them to clamp everything together and give it incredible strength, the feet will be recessed to hide the nut and washer and so that you can't see the nut and washer at the top the same will be done to the top caps the "legs" are set in 10mm from the edges to give the appearance of the legs going through the shelves. I still have to stain the shelves and recess the feet and caps and put some edging on the ply to hide the fact it is plywood. anyway here are some pictures i will post some more when it is finished the middle picture shows the size of the feet(obviously these go on the bottom) Dimensions are 1800mm x 500mm shelve heights are 250mm, 120mm and 100mm each bay is 500mm wide this will allow plenty of air to circulate.
  6. Further information: this was custom made for me by a someone that was doing a refit of the MCG and this was the cable left over, apparently it was the top of the line(i have no idea what brand cable it was) they are a very good sounding cable and have been in my system for the entire time until i recently upgraded to Robertson Audio Cables. Sound quality wise they are worth a lot more than the asking price. 1 meter in length
  7. Further information: I bought these from member gaoli99 on the 28/5/22 but i did not end up using them as i upgraded all my cables to Robertson Audio Cables, selling for the same price i paid.
  8. Further information: Xindak is a well known brand, this was an entry level cable that sounds really good for the price i paid for it, the RRP was $120. If you are after a good budget cable look no further. One end of the cables have heat shrink tape over them as they where too close together and i didn't want them touching, you can remove it if you so desire! 1 meter in length

  11. I own this cable and i can confirm that it made a incredible difference to my system, it replaced a set of Audioquest king cobra's. Well worth the money.
  12. DSD 1024 plays @ 49 Mhz NOT 49 Khz a big difference 49,000,000 Hz compared to 49,000 Hz
  13. Perfect condition with Dexa op-amp upgrade, functionally and cosmetically as new, i can include the original opamps if required. I have also included a bonus Psvane tube for tube rolling if you desire(i used it without the tube)Many great reviews of this DAC i am tempted to keep it as a spare but then i would never get rid of anything. Comes in original packaging for safe transportation. Will do DSD128 on Windows but will do DSD256 through Daphile. The recommended retail on this was $1400 + $400 for the DEXA op-amps I DO NOT USE PayPal

  20. i am sorry but i will not just give this away for next to nothing i would rather keep it as a spare as it would cost more to replace if ever i needed too.
