  1. shock price... i'll be second if not going through
  2. Further information: RRP $790AUD doesn't tell the story.. Rare case when cheap and good should be seen purchased Enormous grandiose sound. It's just a new life for mono records. This cartridge has ~300 hours on it ( out of ~4,000 ) and needs to be used by a music-lover. https://www.miyajima-lab.com/e-mono.html on the "true mono" topic... There are only few manufacturers doing proper mono cartridges. because there isnt vertical compliance in mono cartridge - you can't listen to stereo LP with mono cartridge - you'll damage the record and wear out cartridge\tonearm https://www.miyajima-lab.com/e-mono.html here is a good explanation of mechanics mono cutterhead groove is different left\right only so it's different https://www.vinylrecorder.com/stereo.html in stereo (which is 3d: up\down\left\right cut) - people use 45 speed to make records more powerfull\punchy , due to the limits of the cutterhead angles. in mono - you can have this at 33 rpm, hence records ae shorter (theoretically lower density - wider grooves) btw here is how stereo grooves look like through microscope Photos:
  3. i collect\listen to mono a lot... to start with anyone needs a mono cartridge. there are only few manufacturers doing proper mono cartridges. because there isnt vertical compliance in mono cartridge - you can't listen to stereo LP with mono cartridge - you'll damage the record and wear out cartridge\tonearm something like miyajima kotetu to start with . https://www.miyajima-lab.com/e-mono.html here is a good explanation of mechanics mono cutterhead groove is different left\right only so it's different https://www.vinylrecorder.com/stereo.html in stereo (which is 3d: up\down\left\right cut) - people use 45 speed to make records more powerfull\punchy , due to the limits of the cutterhead angles. in mono - you can have this at 33 rpm, hence records ae shorter (theoretically lower density - wider grooves) here is how grooves look like through micriscope ( i reckon stereo? )
  4. Hi mate , together with yours 6L6GC 5881 REFLEKTOR NOS VALVE TUBEs there is quad of NOS Matsushita Quad 6CS7 tubes for LEBEN CS600. Why, you want cs600 now ?
  5. you know what they say... talk about music is like attempting to draw the ballet i mean it's possible, but the purpose is different isn't it . But what would stupid me know , right. There should be a million words written by people who are good at that about a synergy etc. I found Harbeth HL5's a bit boring, having said that- i can understand how people can stick for that config forever . The sound was very engaging\involving\ , you must forget about the gear after a few minutes of listening and just enjoy the record... i think it's fair to say , it's not "reference system" and is somewhat forgiving for not-so-perfect records.
  6. no mate, leben doesn't do 300b at all . leben changes their range, but unfortunately to less "musical" gear, (which we would like them to do something more musical, like 300b) . which is a shame as design is really really nice
  7. well, i found most of tube amps - plain ugly after leben... (regardless of the budget) and why instead of amps on 300b etc they do what they do is beyond me ...
  8. Further information: Here is another "friend" very hard to part a way with .. LEBEN has increased prices and new 600x ( which isn't as good model ) went over $10,000 AUD. Grab yourself a bargain, as they say. Has some 1,000 hours in it - so just have purchased 2 sets of matched NOS quartets (spent ~$1,000 AUD) - ready for a new home. There is not a lot to say about these intergrated amplifiers as the internet is already over saturated with plenty of glowing reviews and information about them. Both the CS600 and RS30-EQ was bought brand new from Soundlabs in late 2013. In excellent condition. Have paired it with the Harbeths hl5, ProACs response, 47 labs lenses - pure music nirvana all the time https://lebenhifi.com/products/cs600.html https://www.stereophile.com/thefifthelement/the_fifth_element_60/index.html http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/leben2/system.html

  15. Further information: Here is medium effective mass arm used a good deal to enter into the mono for me. Excellent build quality and ease of set-up. Cleaning up the vault. thanks escription To make reliable tracing possible at a low stylus pressure under 1g the inside force cancel is needed. This new system used in the GST-1 stabilised the cancel by making use of the magnetic repulsion skilfully without giving any mechanic friction resistance over all and also without injuring the rotating function of the tonearm, having relation either with the temperature change nor the alternation by years. To make an accurate tracing whenever you change the cartridge, you have to change the arm height. Our GST-1 is equipped, with the height adjustment lever of the arm base, which can easily adjust accurately within 10mm height (1mm step measure). Specifications Effective length: 237mm Overhang: 15mm Height adjustment: 10mm will pay the donation Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that upon successful sale of your item it is expected you pay Seller's Fees. - if you have previously sold items and not made a contribution, your advertisement may not be approved.
