I picked up the A6 today and connected just fine. However, I’m playing music from Amazon ultra HD and the display shows PCM 48 kHz, 1.91 Mbps and 24 bit. I’m pretty sure that’s not ultra HD? Or maybe it is? connected via RCA and using the A 6 DAC.

So, the best way to connect is?

I have ARC switched off for music. I already have an old Bluesound Node connected, so I really just wanted to check if I connect the same way, and if doing this would use the inbuilt DAC of the Eversolo.

I’m not sure what you mean by what sources I plan to connect. I am looking to connect to my amp using the Eversolo DAC to listen to music. I saw a demo online where they mentioned that the HDMI connection wasn’t used for this? I now see the HDMI output provides multi channel, so I just need to change settings in the Anthem to 2 channel? cheers

Hi, I'm considering purchasing the DMP-A6 and have an Anthem 1120 as my main amp. What would be the best way to set up? Is the Eversolo DAC better to use and, if so, should I use HDMI cable or RCA? Cheers and sorry for the newbie question.

Do they get really warm? This amp is in a floating cabinet and I'd like to leave the door closed.

Sorry to jump in here late, and change tack a little. I have read that phono preamp (stages) can be left powered on at all times? I know they don't use much power, and can take a little time to "warm up" (some models), but does it do any damage to the amp or does it actually matter at all if it is turned on and off as per usage? I have a Rega Aria.

I knew this was an issue with Audyssey, but didn't know that ARC also needed this checked. Where is this in the settings?

I’ve managed to hook up my new turntable to my 1120, have the preamp connected and analog to analog connected with audio. I have just left all settings from ARC correction but it seems that I am only getting 2.0. I have the sub switched on but there’s definitely nothing coming from the sub. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Is it a crossover or something similar? Any help greatly appreciated

I hope so, but I'm guessing it won't be. I have this problem periodically with my 1120 and foxtel IQ4. It's a pain, but only fixed with hard reset of IQ4. Which TV are you using, because my 9400E Sony also adds to this.

Made the most of this offer and traded in an old (not working) Onkyo amp and then sold my Yamaha 3060 to get a great price on an 1120. So far I have been impressed. I will have plenty of questions along the way to annoy you all. First question relates to the remote. I have downloaded the app and am able to manage the change from "normal" to "Dolby Surround" etc, but can't seem to find a button on the remote that will allow ease of this switching. I know I'm probably staring at it, but any help appreciated.
