Hi all, I purchased Meze Empyreamn from fellow stereonet member a few months back and I noticed the right driver crackles when i move my head or essentially when there is a pressure change when sealed. There is no audio performance issues, driver sounds fine, just annoying that I got to stay quite still when listening. I don't seem to be getting anywhere with the local distributor... any help is appreciated. Here is a youtube video of the issue.

I haven't swapped the pads since I got them from fellow stereonet member. I've had them for a year and only put on about 20 hours on them. They are in great condition. I did have to take them off to install the 3D printer fazors.

Overall much better balanced upper mids and highs, sound stage is slightly better than orginal as the drivers a just slightly further away from the ear. Thanks Mason, this actually is the classic version, not the closed version. Never the less still has a good amount of bass.

Further information: One of the best budget amps for 600 ohm headsets. probably a good speaker amp as well. Originally got it back in July to use with Bayerdynamic DT 880 600ohm, didn't end up liking the headphone so the amp has just been sitting in the box collecting dust. Note the direct drive jumpers are installed so if you want to use it with headphones with lower resistance, make sure to remove the jumpers first! Haven't tried the sonos ones but here is a review from Jims review room back when it was released also worthwhile checking the 700 review, i think that one gives some comparison with other soundbars

I can't compare with these two, but I find the Elear has more depth, bass accuracy and clarity compared with the HD 58X.

Unfortunately, I've got a wide head and the clamping force is too much so I ended up not using it much.
