  2. I’d be very interested to hear how you go!
  3. Qutest AND your R3s for sale? Are you ok?
  4. I have one with the LPSU and it's absolutely fantastic! GLWTS
  5. I also live in Dee Why so please let me know if an audition might ever be possible, I’d love to give it a blast if possible before pulling the trigger.
  6. Yeah I didn't think so but I've read things that seemed...well....wrong! Cheers
  7. Hi everyone, Might be a pointless question, but can the CD ripper be used as a transport? Cheers
  8. I have the exact same set up and absolutely adore mine! GLWTS
  9. Happy New Year everyone, Lots of ripping going on at the moment, is anyone noticing that some CDs are just taking forever to import, even with the fast rip setting engaged? Happy Listening to you all!
  10. This CD by the Latvian Radio Choir is fantastic, highlighting music by Ešenvalds, Vasks and Bryars. The highlight of the CD is the Cadman Requiem which was written for a friend of Gavin Bryars who was killed in the Lockerbie air crash in 1988. CD ripped to Innuos Zen Mini Mk 3 and playing via Roon
  11. One of my favourite albums of all time!
  12. A lovely recording of Vaughan William’s Mass in G minor but I’m here for the James MacMillan which I hope to be conducting in Sydney in 2022. Fantastic recording quality too (most Chandos recordings are).
  13. Hitting some Strauss hard tonight. I still remember the first time that I heard Tod und Verlärung live and it just blew me away.
  14. TBF they should just use more bow, especially in John Adams works!
  15. Would certainly be interested to compare versions with the different DAC chips. Shane about audition, I’m just in Dee Why! GLWTS
  16. Late night burning session last night, listening to Messiaen and Mendelssohn.
  17. Yeah those are the male voice arrangements. Try this one:
  18. One of my absolute favourite choral composers! Check out his Curse Upon Iron (Raua needmine) - ECM with same artists.
  19. Just returned home from leading a Zoom choir rehearsal featuring Mozart, Haydn, Cherubini and CPE Bach so need a little Renaissance to cleanse the palate
  20. Yes that is absolutely true - I've decided to just use the Innuos as my Roon Core and to use my other setup as a network bridge. Just waiting for everything to load over - thanks for your input!
  21. Because I already have a good core setup for Roon so have no real need to set the Zen up as a Core. Is it possible to add the Zen as a Network share, so that Roon adds the music that is on the Zen? I'm still learning regarding all things networking etc!
  22. Having a great time re-listening to music through the Zen Mini and burning more onto the device. Glad to be able to use all of my Les Davis damping pads In terms of listening to my music via my iPad etc, is iPeng still the way to go or are there better programs to allow me to do this?
  23. With delays in Melbourne due to COVID in postal centres I’m hoping that my Innuos will finally arrive tomorrow. just set Roon to do a full backup over night, Ethernet cable ready to go, audioquest coaxial ready to pick up first thing in the morning it’s all quite exciting! Now…..what should I play first?!
