hi W, glad u went kec for demo :D Z1 bought me down the fence ;D I got a home demo of ae300. My amatuer eye cannot tell (contrast,screendoor and blackness) difference between Ae300 and Z1. Maybe ignorance is bliss :-X Projector is placed at 3.5m coffeetable to get 100" display. Viewing distance 5.3m verdict : got z1 for the price and longer warranty. Frankly, both Ae300 and Z1 are solid for me. Ae300 will offer better insurance against upgrade with DVI capability. If budget allows, I will still choose Z1 8)

if buying z1, may I know only Kec provides l-o-n-g power cable? I need at least 12m. Anybody projecting their Z1>100" ? (although I suspect screendoor will become very obvious :P ) Provided "ceiling to floor" can accomodate first. Seems so hard to get an ae300 demo :-\
