  1. Some food for thought. Apple watch 6 user. If you an Apple phone user, great. Sorry Android user. If you re looking for on watch BP measurement, then the Apple watch is not for you. It can however, sync with a bluetooth enabled BP monitor. This info can then be stored and read on the Health app to track your well being. Battery life is still not great as it needs to be charged daily. This based on my usage pattern. Always on display, regular BP measurement and 30 mins exercise heart rate tracking etc. You can perform an ECG ( not sure if it is 100% accurate) with the 6. As a fitness tracking tool, it works well, nagging you to move, stand and exercise. If you live in Apple ecosystem, the watch can be a useful tool. It helps me to unlock my Mac Hope that helps.
  2. Just wanted to share some images from the S&M test disc on a Cyrus natural white screen. Taken in the cave. The N7 is my third JVC PJ and it is, by far, the best one I’ve experienced so far ? .

  4. I have used these (Arkive 5:1) in the past to compact my DVD collection. Allows me to keep 5 in the space of one DVD. Sadly they do not seem to be available today. However, you could explore similar ones like these: https://www.amazon.sg/dp/B002JR2V7C/ref=cbw_us_sg_dp_ags?smid=ARPIJN329XQ0D Alternatively, you can look at these as well if you do not have shelving space to store them: https://www.amazon.sg/dp/B001U61FN4/ref=cbw_us_sg_dp_vc?smid=ACT6OAM3OSC9S The only challenging thing about sleeves on shelves is it will take a little more effort to identify and locate your choice (as you do not have the case spine for easy reference). Proper storage and dividers help tremendously.
  5. Based on my experience, should not be a problem if you only plan to use one at a time. Ideal would to have a UHD TV or monitor ?. This will give the same resolution on both.
  6. Thanks Desray for the initiative. Let me help start the ball rolling by compiling the list. Should the covid19 cleared and subject to Desray's availability, we can then proceed :) 01. 7. Since when does living comfortably (fibre included ;D) preclude anyone from being unhappy with the way the government is managing the country? No room for improvements? All is well because I am well? Seems to be a narrow and selfish perspective to me. Just accept that opinions are like arseholes, everybody has one.
  8. Very nice!
  9. I would suggest paying in USD. Generally rates the credit card would charge are lower than the ones Paypal are offering. Plus you get hit the 1% DCF again. If I have to pay is SGD (no other option for some sites), I use DBS Amex because they do not slap the 1%.
  10. Commitment! Great job. Enjoy the movies.
  11. You can consider the Goodyear F1A3 or F1A2 (cheaper as is an older model). Comfortable , good in the wet and quite good performance for the street.
  12. I have found that the Studio 100v5 has more than enough bass quantity and quality when driven with enough wattage. Personally, I would ask if the addition of the sub is really necessary for music listening?

  14. Great news Tom! If the company can keep relative pricing at the level across the whole range, it would make your subs quite an attractive option. Keep us updated!
  15. Have been contemplating this beast and wanted to listen to any first hand experiences? Although it comes with a 5 year warranty, would appreciate if there is any feedback on reliability to date and your sound impressions. Thanks in advance.
  16. You might be correct about pre-orders not qualifying got free shipping. Had no free shipping option when i had pre-orders in my cart and had to spend time initiating chats with the CSO to waive the shipping charges. Bummer if it is true!
  17. Guess I'll wait patiently for the dust to settle before making the updates.
  18. Have to provide a different perspective. Great value for the money, but I have found their lenses not as good as my usual Essilor ones. Made two pairs at different times (first with my prescription and the second with their eye test & prescription) and while the second is better, it still isn't as sharp or clear as the Essilor lenses. Wife had the same opinion and said the difference was especially noticeable when she was using the computer at work. Cant complain about the value.
  19. Another consideration would be a portable wi-fi router from Changi Recommends: https://www.changirecommends.com/owifi.aspx Used it recently on my family trip to Japan and it was really quite convenient. Book in advance of the trip, pick up at Changi Airport before flying, switch on & connect when we arrived and you're ready to go. With 1G daily allowance and support for up to 10 devices, everyone's mobile phones and tablets were live from the moment we landed. ;D Depending on the country you will be going to, it might not be the cheapest choice, but the premium was worth the convenience of 24/7 connectivity from the moment you land till you finally take off for home. And no problems with running down your mobile battery when you hotspot.
  20. Clear now. Have hardly seen any TDI Q3s in Singapore. You are correct about the group having to deal with the opening of Pandora's box. Hopefully, corners have not been cut elsewhere in the other brands in the family.:(
  21. Should not have much impact locally as only cars with diesel Euro 5 engines are affected. Don't believe too many of those were sold here. ;D However, if the software were used in other cars........ ???
