I don’t use Spotify very often, however thought I’d give it a go via the Eversolo, and find myself wondering why the display shows PCM 44.1khz and 16 bit?? Curious.

Hoping the brains trust here might help me with something. I have had my DMP-A6 for around 2 weeks - love it. I’ve read a few things about people installing additional apps, and thought I’d have a go at installing Soundcloud, as I occasionally search it for interesting music. Well, downloading the Soundcloud ‘apk’ file (which I didn’t know was a thing) and loading it into the A6 was a breeze. I’ve got the Soundcloud app now within the Apps folder in the A6, however when I tap on it to open I receive a message that says “Soundcloud wont run without Google Play services which are not supported by your device”. Any tips on what to do? Thanks in advance.

The DAC I think I’d be most interested in trying paired up with the DMP-A6 is the Denafrips Ares 12th, reviews of it seem generally very positive. However for the moment I’m quite content with the internal DAC and developing a better sense of it’s sound in my system as it is.

I’m doing the same, although my CD ‘player’ is a transport anyway so needs a DAC (audiolab CDT6000). I’ve had my DMP-A6 only 24 hours and am running the CD Transport via coax into the Eversolo for its DAC. Sounds great, with the added bonus of being able to use the VU meters while playing a CD. Prett cool!
