These will also cost you.

qwerter Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I need to repair or replace a remote control unit for my Line Magnetic LM 518iA 845 amp. I am in Sydney. Any recommendations?
phileaudio Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Any one know of a good repair shop in Adelaide for big power amps. Cheers Bo
OzDJ Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 (edited) I picked up one of the dream mini/bookshelf systems from my younger years, a Pioneer C3 setup including the A-C3 (amp), T-C3 (cassette), PD-C3 (CD) and F-C3 (tuner). Everything is in very good nick and fully functional *BUT* the dreaded display fade/dimming has well and truly kicked in. The tuner display is bright and sharp BUT the tape display is now barely visible under normal room lighting and the CD player is only marginally better (pic, below heavily tweaked to show anything!) I'd like to find a repair shop in Sydney that can give the system a general look-over, change the CD player and tape deck belts etc....and improve the performance of the displays (repair/replace?). Any suggestions? Thank you. Edited January 29, 2020 by OzDJ added images

After ringing around a couple of repair shops around Brisbane who did not want to know I came across Hifi Repair Services on the Gold Coast. I spoke with Andy and he agreed to have a look at it for me. He did a fabulous job and re-placed a heap of blown caps , fixed up some dubious previous repair work and everything was hunky dory. His service was exceptional and he even supplied before and after photo's. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Mike Hi Mike: Wondering do you have Andy hifi repair contact no ? Where is its location ? Many thanks Merv
