Carole King "Welcome Home" Oz 1st pressing.....appears NM and was cheap! Simply Red "Picture Book" Oz 1st pressing.....again appears NM, actually visually it looks mint! Also cheap! Saw @hlov playing this earlier and thought, 'mmm, a copy of that would be good'....and like magic, the bazaar delivers! Excellent choice, sad old red is great 2

stevoz Posted November 15, 2023 Author Posted November 15, 2023 Just now via Discogs: The Psychedelic Furs "Midnight To Midnight" NM Oz 1st pressing....pretty commercial for them but still pretty good.....and it was quite cheap! 2 1
Grizzly Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 A little recent haul after a dry spell! Alice In Chains need the hole reamed out, and the Dope Lemon is very noisy (the music makes up for it somewhat, but it's basically a picture disc so no surprises about the noise really). The other 3 are gorgeous!! Harmony Codex- Steven Wilson Desire, I want to turn into you- Caroline Polacheck In Cauda Veneum- Opeth Also this preorder to keep my LowSwing collection complete, will be stunning I know!! https://lowswing-records.com/home/33-fink-the-lowswing-sessions-deluxe-edition.html 8 1

gasman1003 Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 (edited) Kate Rusby - 30: Happy Returns I ordered this a month ago but the Royal Mail lost it. I emailed Pure Records, the label owned by the artist and her family, and a replacement was sent out the same day. Wonderful customer service and a beautiful and wonderful sounding LP. stevoz Posted November 21, 2023 Author Posted November 21, 2023 (edited) Today from the local Vintage Bazaar, Carole King "Tapestry" Oz 1st pressing....to replace an Oz reissue I bought at the same place a while back that turned out to be warped. The AMCO Album "A Salute To Australian Music" Oz 1st pressing......remember Amco jeans? A collection of Oz music from 1982.....$10, why not? Some good music here.....love 'Shout And Deliver', 'Stay Young', we'll see about the rest. According to a note on the back cover: 'This Album Is Not For Retail Sale'. A give away with a pair of jeans? Edited November 21, 2023 by stevoz 3

stevoz Posted November 25, 2023 Author Posted November 25, 2023 Just now, via Discogs: Iron Butterfly "In A Gadda Da Vida" NM ?1973 German repress. Ah the memories.....in 1969 of my 15 year old sister playing this to our parents (the 17 minute title track), us three kids loving it and having them look at us as if we were on drugs! I was nine and drug free at the time but eventually was on drugs! M "New York, London, Paris, Munich" NM Japanese 1st pressing.....from the same seller and a cheap add on plus only 2 euro's extra postage....and a replacement for my half hazed (one side) Oz pressing. I have always found this album a bit of fun but also superbly recorded/produced. 3

I played that album incessantly as a teenager and it’s embedded in my psyche. I have a few vinyl versions and a Japanese SACD and this is the best I’ve heard it. Way punchier, improved dynamics and the high end is a stand out so far. 1

Cheers for the heads up 1
