Just now from Rarewaves and discounted: Iggy Pop "Lust For Life" 2017 remastered reissue, Dutch pressing (Record Industry). I have wanted this for ages.....and this was at a great price.

When someone (@metal beat), describes an album as 'almost the perfect post punk album', I just had to check it out on youtube.....my conclusion was "Yes Please!!".

 

Killing Joke "Night Time" NM French 1st pressing.....I did have this and a mint 2016 remastered reissue in my Discogs cart but the latter sold so I snapped this one up. Should be fine.....what pressing have you got Shane?

Not until after I saw your post.....then after I checked out some youtube stuff I knew I was in for a treat! I was familiar with the song "Love Like Blood" from back in the day but that was the only one. Can't wait for it to arrive.

Just arrived - Prince - Diamonds & Pearls deluxe box set.   took over a month to get one, but it is here.  Locally, Warners are charging almost $1100 for this box.  they are well and truly trying to close physical sales down in AU with these total ripoff prices.

 

  Good news - the box is well packaged. The content is beautiful with exquisite artwork.   Bad news - no bloody poly inner sleeves

Not a total big deal, as I clean every new record I buy and put them into either a polylined inner or plain U shaped poly inner.

 

 But, more vinyl damage can happen inserting at record plant or removing from paper inners at home.

 

  Can't wait to spin the box this arvo.

Dire Straits "Dire Straits" NM German 1st pressing.....to replace my hazed Oz 1st pressing that I bought 45 years ago. I should have done this way before now.....but I just heard 'Six Blade Knife' and that was enough motivation to finally get it done.

Just spun the first two sides.

 

Good dance music with that electronic synth edge that I dig. 

 

 Somehow it reminds of Daft Punk except it's musically enjoyable,  not vomit inducing.
