Drunken purchase last night....had this in my Discogs cart and was on my phone app during last nights listening session, purchased it but could not pay via phone as I couldn't remember my paypal password. Get up this morning, check my emails and then see a Discogs reminder to pay...."Oh yeah, I did that last night didn't I? I remember now."

I can't help myself.....just now via Discogs, Alan Parsons "The Instrumental Works" NM German 1st pressing (Sonopress). Saw @lemarquis's post on 'currently spinning' re: this album, didn't know it existed......to have APP's best instrumental's all in one place is very handy indeed.

SOHN – Trust  - new album.

turned up yesterday shipped from Perth with NO packing.  no surprise, record cover completely bent and record warped.   warped record easily fixed in the record flattener and it plays fine.   Just no reason excuse why it wasn't packed.

 

amazon were nice enough to credit me my full price and let me keep the vinyl as this was the last local copy.

No I haven't, the only version I currently hear is streaming via Qobuz...

I've become a bit fussy now when buying Vinyl, pressing wise.

I checked out this pressing, no wonder you said  its the best sounding copy you have, the pressing is pretty impressive number wise, in fact its even slightly better with some songs than the 1981 Germany pressing see below:

 

I've just bought this now, as this is one of my all time favourite albums from back in the day, looking forward to giving this a Spin..
