As stated in the vinyl spinning thread, yesterday's purchase of "Love An Adventure" was cancelled by the seller and the copy of 'Autumnal Park' disappeared from the local bazaar.....so Discogs was revisited.

 

Pseudo Echo "Love An Adventure" NM Oz 1st pressing....cheapish but not as cheap as yesterday's.....but this is from a trusted seller I used to buy from on ebay so it should be well graded.

 

 

Pseudo Echo "Autumnal Park" NM Oz 1st pressing....I had a Dutch pressing of this in my cart but just now found this Oz Maxicut that I must have missed last night....and it was cheaper than both the Dutch one and the one at the bazaar. Hopefully it's well graded.

 

 

Now I can relax!

I just saw a reaction video on youtube featuring The Pretenders where the hosts said that they had a new album out (actually 2023), so I checked it out. Pretty damn good but a bit ballady for me....but it lead me to their previous release from 2020, 'Hate For Sale'. Wow, what classic Pretenders it is, Hynde's vocals are as good as ever and they are rockin'....I have their first four LP's and seriously, this could be their fifth!

Thought it was about time to get this into my collection....then found this copy at a ridiculously cheap price compared to most other copies ($36, from Oz seller so no GST on top) on Discogs:

 

Led Zeppelin "Led Zeppelin II" 2014 remastered reissue, NM German pressing (Schallplattenfabrik Pallas GmbH).....seller claims it has been played once so reckons it's more likely mint.

I only have about 7 hours on the Kleos so too early to say. From what I've read it needs about 100 hours to reveals itself and unfortunately listening time has been substantially limited.

I have bought a few LPs through Urban Outfitters - they get a lot of exclusives - they have all been great too - had no issues with them.

I have physically checked each album and no physical defects.  Good first step as we know pressings can still be problematic even if the pressings looks perfect, especially with pos coloured vinyl.

Agreed but I have found that a lot of the recent coloured vinyl has been really good and no difference to the black - I think many improvements now (thank goodness) . I have had my fair share of black wax that not been great too tho

Just now on Discogs and after I got a 'no questions asked' full refund for the 2014 reissue I bought recently that had a pressing flaw and way too much crackle for a brand new LP.....and also didn't have great SQ frankly.

 

INXS "X" NM Dutch 1st pressing (PRS Baarn)....went back to an original pressing.
